I loved our talk about it last night.
(We sure do talk a lot about backbiting, na?!) Sayyidina Hassan Basri (Rahmatullahi Alayh) was informed that a certain person was making gheebat (backbiting) about him. On hearing this, Sayyidina Hassan Basri (RA) sent a tray laden with fresh dates to the person. A message was also given to him from Sayyidina Hasan Basri (RA) “I hear that you are giving all your good deeds to me. This is a small gift in return.”
Sometimes we fail to realize how serious backbiting is and that our good deeds are truly given away.

I'm good, Alhamdulillah. I was just worried for my dad because just a few months ago, in the summer, my grandma (his mom) passed away, and now his dad… I don't think I told anyone on the forum about my grandma… and if I did, I don't remember it. I think I told you guys that my dad went back home a couple of months ago, in the summer. He went to see my grandpa because he was very sick. My grandma was very healthy. But when he came back, instead of my grandpa, my grandma passed away. But Alhamdulillah, we were all so happy that he at least got to see my grandma before she passed away.
It's just so scary that death is everywhere. You don't know when it's gonna be your turn… Makes you think and want to prepare yourself for the hereafter even more.
But Alhamdulillah, everything went well.

Let me tell you guys the story:
So one day on MSN, Am ji and I are talking and she randomly asks me, “so did you get what boo wanted to send you for your birthday?” And so obviously I was confused and started asking her “whaaaat? Wait i'm confused! what are u talking about? send me what? BOO? MYSTERY WOMAN? Am ji! Whaaaat?!?!” And then Am ji goes and tells me all about it, she even sends me the email that boo and tayba sent everyone. And she goes, “I guess it didn't work out though.” At that time I was talking to Ninja on MSN and so I told her and I also called Tayba up to thank her for trying even though it didn't work out. And then Ninja asks me to add Am ji to our convo, like a chat. And that's when I became suspicious because Ninja really wanted to talk to Am ji, and in our chat, Ninja kept telling Am ji that she couldn't see her online and whatnot. I kinda guessed what was going on. But when I called Tayba, she seemed so cool about it and later when she came online, she apologized that it didn't work out and all and that she can only send the gifts she got me and not the card cuz boo never sent it to her and whatnot. And I starting doubting my suspicions. BUT THEN, the night she was sending me the gifts she got for me, she said she was finishing up the card, and I knew that she got me a card, but she told me she already finished writing in it. so where did this second card come from? She told me she bought me two cards. LMAO! And that is when I knew for sure that the card thing worked out. I didn't want to say anything in case i was being crajee and it really didn't work out, and also because I didn't want to ruin the surprise for them. lmao. Plus, I think they would have just denied that they sent the card.
So I couldn't wait till Ninja's friend recieved the package and couldn't wait for Ninja to gimme my stuff! lmao! Also, Ninja's friend told me that she wanted to open the package and I told her she could because Tayba told me there wasn't anything personal in it. And so I told Tayba and she's like, “so you know whats in it?” And I'm like, “No, I told her not to tell me.” And she's like, “oh. okay” LMAO! I KNEW something fishy was going on.
so finally when Ninja came and dropped off the package (she couldn't stay) I called Tayba up and opened it with her. I saw the card, and ohmyAllah. I started screaming and crying! I knew they were gonna send it, but I mean, looking at it, and holding it in my hands, especially cuz I knew that Boo and Tayba held it as well… it was sooo amazing. I will never forget that feeling. I read it out loud to Tayba, I wish I could have recorded me reading it, but my camera didn't have any charge in it. I would have totally posted it up so you guys could hear me, but only hear, not see. lol.
I was in tears… tears of joy of course. I felt sooo loved. You guys can't even imagine how much that card means to me.
Thank you all so much, I really appreciate that you guys went to the trouble of doing all that for me. Boo jaan… I love you. When I found out you were doing this much for me… being mystery woman and all… I was speechless. All I could think of was, “this girl is amazing. I love her to death.” I wish I could do something for you in return…
