Last movie I watched was Ishaqzaade, was decent. I really liked Parineeti Chopra, she’s a good actress. They new guy (forgot his name) was decent as well. It had a sad ending, which I didnt like lol. I’d give it a 6.75/10.

Next movie I want to watch is Barfi. Man, I am so behind on movies 🙁

I know how you feel! I bought so many books recently, and just don’t have the time to read them all. It makes me sad 🙁

Btw, I just finished reading “Cutting for Stone” by Abraham Verghese, and OMG it’s an amazing book! It took me a couple days to get into it, but then I couldn’t put it down. He is such a good writer, and the concept/basic premise of the book is really interesting as well. It’s filled with everything you could want – drama, lies, love, betrayal, loss, tenderness.

If you guys have some time and are looking for a good book, check this out for sure!

Super irritated with this stupid cold. Most inopportune time to strike – two days before my much awaited trip to beautiful Kelowna. Spent most of the trip sucking on Halls, medicating myself, and wishing I could stay in bed. I’m starting to feel better, but seeing as I have to work tmrw, I have a feeling it’s gonna be acting up again.

Alrights, I’m going to read for a bit and head to bed. Hope things are good with all bollywooderz around the world. Gnite peepz.

Last movie I watched was “Teri Meri Kahani”
Pretty average. I preferred the two older stories (especially the one set in the sixties) over the newer story. I thought Shahid was super cute, and looked damn fine. Priyanka was decent. I only liked one or two songs from the film – I think one was sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Ovearll, I rate the movie a 6.5/10. It’s definitely not a “must watch” in my opinion. Watch it if you have the time, or if you are a Shahid Kapoor fan.

Next movie I want to watch = Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.

Btw, super sad what happened in Colorado. So many innocent lives lost and families destroyed. Glad they were able to catch the perpetrator, reading the news about how his house was booby-trapped is pretty freaky. Seems to have a legit mental problem. Hope he can get the help he needs. Will be interesting to see how this case plays out, and what the verdict is.

So finally watched Kahaani. I absolutely looovvveee Vidya Balan, and really enjoy her movies. There were a few twists and turns, and the ending was very surprising/unexpected. The movie ran at a decent pace, didn’t feel like it was dragging. Btw, I don’t know who that creepy killer guy was, but for some reason he made me laugh. I don’t know if it was his looks, his acting, and the fact that he was supposed to be a hitman?? Anyways, overall, I give the movie a 8.5/10, and VB gets a 10/10 🙂 Watch the movie peepz!!

I don’t like being blue, but i lub the colour blue. All sorts of shades of blue. I want to paint my room this summer, not sure what colour would look the best. *-) Thinking a shade of blue/green, very light and summery. Suggestions peoples???

So I started watching the first season of A Game of Thrones. It’s so weird. I don’t know if I like it or not. I doesn’t seem like my kind of TV show. It’s so scattered, at least in the novel it made more sense. In the show, everything is so all over the place, so jumpy.

The show has been nominated for so many awards though.. does that mean it has to be good and I’m just not watching it right? lol. No clue. Fact is, I’m not really enjoying it. Now I am debating whether I should finish watching the rest of the season, or forgetting it and stop wasting my time. Time I could be doing more important things.

Anyone else watch it or heard anything about it??

Hungry, but nauseous at the same time. Head is fuzzy and eyes keep closing. Need to get up but too tired to move.

Time goes by fast.. too fast. And yet too slow. It’s a complicated one.

Amazing how fast the adrenalin can wear off. You feel the rush, forget all aches and pains, how tired you are, and everything else that is going on. Just focus on the task at hand and how to fix the situation. Prioritize. The biggest thing that I have got to get better at. Now I am pooped. And rambling I suppose? I am being Random 🙂

Lets see.. something else random..

I like sleep.
Blue is my favorite colour.
I feel like listening to music and drinking cool water.
I am sad the Canucks are out of the playoffs.
I want to smell the beautiful rain soaked flowers and grass outside.. I love the smell of freshly mowed lawn.

I unfortunately haven’t had a chance to watch Kahaani yet 🙁 I was hoping to watch it last week, but I’ve been pretty busy, and it’s easier to watch movies that don’t require my full attention, are fluff movies, and aren’t super long. I have it on my phone, but I’d much rather watch on the TV or at least my laptop – not a tiny screen. I love VB, and think this movie probably deserves more attention.

Last movie I watched was The Way We Were, yes an oldie, Barbra Streisand is great, love her in the movie.

It’s sad but I also don’t remember the last BWood movie I watched – I find that I haven’t been keeping up with the latest movies and many of the newer movies aren’t very appealing to me.

He is the most adorable little guy, I love him beyond words! He’s such a silly goose sometimes, a couple days ago, he was looking for me so came and sat outside my bedroom door (2nd floor), but I was sitting in the family room which is on the first floor of my house, but is an open space and is open to the 2nd floor. I could see Rocco sitting outside my door, and when he saw me, he couldn’t figure out how I was still on the first floor. It was so funny, he was sitting there barking, but couldn’t figure out how to get to me hahaha. Thinking bout it makes me laugh :). Rocco is my first pet, I always wanted a dog when I was younger, but the timing was never right.

I am not a fan of cats either, they seem a bit creepy and evil. And they are selfish! Only come to you when they want a treat or a pat.

Alrighty, I am going to take a nap before work, gnite bwooderz!

Wowzers, that is pretty steep for a drink. Nearly 30 CDN!! The most I’ve spent is $15.00 on a Long Island Ice Tea, and I didn’t notice a big taste difference btwn the premium and regular stuff. That is what I’ve heard as well, that some places are a bit dodgy, whereas certain areas in other cities are way more “westernized” as you put it lol. I will be continuing my investigations this weekend when my cousins are visiting and will post if there is anything new to report :p

Last BWood movie I watched was The Dirty Picture – I thought it was brilliant. It made me laugh and it made me cry. I absolutely love Vidya Balan, she is amazing, such a chameleon/versatile actress. I am looking forward to watching Kahaani, the promos looked good and promising.

Hwood – Hunger Games. Must admit, I was pretty disappointed. The movie was a let down compared to the novels. That is one of the biggest problems I notice when a book is made into a movie (there are some exceptions: HP of course! Devil Wears Prada, Shutter Island, etc.) I guess there were just too much good stuff that had to be cut out in order to make the film a decent length.

Modern Family… i freaking love that show!! Haven’t seen the recent episodes, last one I watched was season 3 episode 17 I believe (the one where Mitchell and Cameron make a big decision for their family (no spoilers in case you haven’t seen it)). One of the best shows on TV!!

So I finished the Game of Thrones a few months ago.. the book was a good read and different from anything else I have read. That being said, I probably won’t read any of the sequels. It isn’t my type of fiction. I’m still interested in the TV show, have the first season on my computer, and will probably start watching it when I finish re-watching Gilmore Girls 🙂

Favorite games… hmm.. I don’t play video games often, but once in a while I will play NHL 2K12 on PS3.

I also like playing Taboo. Used to like Monopoly but have NEVER finished a game. It just takes too long.

Fav drinking games: Flip cup!! and 3 men.

On my IPhone I play Wurdle or Connect 4.
