I looked the meaning of Aap kaise hain on google and it said sometjhing like this:

    HOWD YOU BE MATE?

    Have I got it right?.

If so apart from a bit of delhi-belly and a head full of dead neurons – I'm fine – thx to xmas.

Its the first time I looked up what an Indian phrase means. Actually I am very keen on learning some hindi lingo – its abut time I did.

A few hindo phrases from the FORUM will help. And if the phrase is not on google then I can always make sumthing up as to its meaning. She'll be right Ay? And see how accurate I am. (ahah)

I'm wondering if you mis-spelt the word “KUMARA” in your writings above.

It's the holiday laze around season here

Nah, me not bickering with you or anyone else. I am not the bickering type. Bickering is a total waste of time and energy. It is better to turn your back and walk away rather than stay and nuture the process with more bickering.

I merely made a few comments based on your own words about how stressed you were at the time of your forhcoming exam and the difficulty you were having reading (revising?) your textbook.

What I wrote is a fact based on pure scientific research. Learning can be made by the learner into a very simple and easy exercise. For example where one would normally take say 10 hours to learn something – well that time frame can be cut down to two hours or less and in so doing be absolutely sure that information that will come out of the brain box during times you want that information will come out with 100% certainty and 100% correctness. Now if you read what I have previously written you will now realise that what I wrote is in fact based on what I am now explaining.

You obviously realise I am rather new to “Say something” Forum and you were the first person I wrote a response to and attempted at the same time to be somewhat helpful.

You state you want to know about me. What do you want to know about me?

You can simplify the process by writing a few questions to me and I will answer them.

    Hows dat sound?

    REPLY FROM DOOWYLLOB

You ask me to “say the poojas”

My ignorance of my own culture (a culture I respect immensely) lets me down at times. For that I apologise. Can you confirm what the word “pooja” means?

I may embarrass myself if I even try to guess.

Here goes. You state its a ritual therefore sounds like a ceremony or a religious custom or a social custom. I'm out of my depth here however an attempt at hazarding guess I would say the word has something to do with a social custom considering a Forum is more a social gathering. Dam it I probably am wrong in which case you guys can laugh at my expense.

Please take me seriously here I genuinely do not know what “pooja” means and because of my dilema I would really appreciate your enlightening me on the meaning. The last thing in the world I want is for bad luck to follow my butt around.

    Thx

I wonder why most wars fought during the history of mankind have been in the name of religion?

And I wonder when was it the very last time that a war in the name of religion was fought?

Also wars based on religion, how many types / categories are there?

Hi howd you be after that Bio exam of yours?

I dont know if by referring to Dooly.. above whether in actual fact you are referring to me, especially after what you wrote.

In any case You should really re-read what I wrote as if you do you will find that there is a lot of truth in my statement. Besides its the truth and what is it they say about truth……?

Granted you had it rough yesterday. Theres absolutely no reason why you or anyone else for that matter cannot take the time to dig into how to learn more efficiently that you are currently. There is a problem though. Where or what do you do to embark on that track. I guess read a lot of scientific research thats been going on quitely in the background. Then come head tom tails with it. Then apply it. If you do that then next time you read through your Bio book or rather after having read the Bio you should be able to discuss any Chapter from that book at random without referring to the book.

By the way thank you kindly for your compliment.

And drinking too much coffee doesn't help the brain box either.

A question: Who is Senor Jalapeno?

Its probably the most obvious answer in the world. Having said that we all have our ignorance about us do we not?

Do you think that is a fair statement. By all I mean every single one of us on this planet.

Well if what I have said makes sense then you really need to get into learning the “how to” of study. This is trhe one area no one is taught. Consequently you need to learn by reading up on how the memory mechanism works so that you are in a better position to control that area and hence easily throw the information into your head and be able to recall it at any time. That sounds pretty good doesn';t it?

Maybe to the point of sounding “impossible” to the point of being altruistic. Not so as the memory system as been well researched.

So what. Dont have a reticent attutde towards yourself. You can digest that book in two hours or less and be able to spew out facts when required.

Ok so after this lot of exams take time out to learn how to absorb material, place it into memory then correlate it all when required.

Now the problem is if you don't take steps to learn the “how to” bit you will be back to square one when your next lot of exams loom up on you and so the cycle will continuously repeat itself as a bad habit. One of the biggest problems people have is “unfreezing” that which is “frozen” in their head and replacing that with a new way of doing things in this case the “how to study” phenomenon.

What you are you thinking now?

Coming to think of it you should be reading that blooming book!!

Throughout evolution if mankind did not live by his / her dreams where would technology be today?

A fact: Most “researchers, discoverers / inventors” are over the age of 50.

Can anyone explain why that is?

Maybe you are simply “over-studying” and as a result not taking in as much as you need to. The result youre getting stressed out. Its so very easy giving up doing things in life and later regret for having done so. As I said study can be easy and fun – you merely have to learn “how to” first; then pace ahead and digest the knowledge you stress yourself out so much for.

    Make sense?
