And then, I'm getting ready to pray, and he comes out of his room when I'm putting on my hijaab, and he's like, “what are you doing NOW?” (lol. I think he thought I was gonna go outside! LMAO!) And I'm like, “I'm gonna pray.” And he's like, “oh okay.” And he leaves. lol!

I watch a soap here and the girl in there was at first bullimic but then she met a model who taught her how to 'lose weight', but what she did was introduce her to anorexia. The model was also anorexic… they kept starving themselves and working out too much. They lose their hair, got so many spots on their face, they look like sticks. The model is now in hospital about to die. Its so heart wrenching…. I don't know why girls do such drastic things… its all the media effect I guess.

Rani, I emailed u a long ass email last night and some photos… did you see?

This photo was taken when I was in the boat called 'Maid of The Mist'. The boat takes you straight through the Niagara Falls. You have to wear raincoats =D It gets wet. As you pass through, you can feel the mist from the falls spray your face. Its a beautiful feeling .

We went on a helicopter ride to get a bird's eye view of the falls. I took this from the helicopter. You can see the 'Maid of The Mist' boat that I previously mentioned, taking tourists through the falls.

As we were reaching the peak of the falls, the mist was spraying us harder. My camera got wet lol. Sigh, I miss the sound of the waters falling and crashing against the rocks… so soothing… so peaceful. I wrote a poem about my experience to the Niagara Falls .

I spent the day at Lake Ontario with my family. This is where I took this picture. It is also my desktop right now. I love this photo!

A sense of home in a foreign country … as I say to Shereena 'Poshness and extendedness stand side by side' .

I had the best evening Alhumdulilah. My friend invited 4 of us around to her place for dinner. We ate, prayed and then chilled for hours in her room with the usual girly chat. Don't you just love the simple things in life? Alhumdulilah….
