this is a great song. Strings are from Pakistan I think. I am not a hindi native speaker but I’ll try to help. Anyone is welcome to correct my mistakes. Will actually appreciate it

    Kahani mohabbat ki hai mokhtasar
    A short love story
Gaya dil se phir voh naa aya idhar
she has left my heart never to return here
Kabhi koi tha meri raahon ka ek humsafar
there used to be a companion for the roads of my life-journey
Kar gaya dil ka voh soona nagar
she turned my heart into an empty village
Na koi rasta na koi dagar
There is no road or path
Usse dhoondhun kahan, usse paaon kahan
where do I look for her, where do I find her?
Aaj main hoon yahan woh kahan
Today I’m here but where is she?

Neelei neelei aasman par badal chaa rahei hain
clouds are casting shadows against blue blue skies
Panchi apne ghar ko waapis jaa rahei hain
birds are returning to their homes
    Usse …..(repeat)

Dhoop parvato par dhoop cha rahei hai
light is falling upon mountains (?????)
Pyar karne walen saath chal rahei hain
    Lovers are walking together
    Usse.. (repeat)

thanx boo. I really appreciate your help. I love the songs and it’s been driving me crazy working out the lyrics. It’s a pity the forum that had the lyrics is old. they had a debate going about the translation of noor-un- ala-noor. I could have helped with that. It’s arabic and it means “light upon light” It’s a verse from the Koran describing the great light of Allah. The song by that name is picturized on a Sufi type of dance. Sufis are into the mystic side of Islam and the qualities and love of Allah. In case anyone is still interested 🙂

arabic lyrics and translation both are good on bollywhat.com for that song. If you have access to arabic music then u should definitly try to get the arabic original song. Tamally ma’ak by Amr Diyaab
