Ok here goes..its frm a hindi pop album called “tere Bina” by Abhijeet..

    mujhe tum yaad aaye –
    “I remembered you…”

    kabhi mausam hua resham -2
“At times when the weather seemed silky (pleasant),

    kahi baarish *** rimzim
“When the rain came drizzling down..”

mujhe tum yaad aaye – 2
    “I remembered you…”

kahi koyal ki kuh kuh se
“When i heard the cooing of the cuckoo..”

kahi payal ki cham cham se
“When I heard the trinkling of the anklet(Paayal)..”

mujhe tum yaad aaye – 2
    “I remembered you…”

(woh saundhi saundhi khushbu bhi,un chanchal chitwan aadao ki
“Even those faint fragrances, those features of my restless mind..”

saawan ki dheemi hawaaye bhi baatein tumhari kare) – 2
“Even the slow winds bringing in the rain speak of you..”

deewana dil hua gumsum, mujhe tum yaad aaye – 2
“When my love-crazy heart felt saddened,I remembered you..”

    kabhi mausam hua resham -2
“At times when the weather seemed silky (pleasant),

    kahi baarish *** rimzim
“When the rain came drizzling down..”

mujhe tum yaad aaye – 2
    “I remembered you..”

((yeh panghat sune sune hain woh khali khali jhule hain) – 2
“This waterhole seems so lonely, these swings seem so empty..”

lehrata saaagar kinara tum bin adhura lage) – 2
“the waves by the sea shore seem incomplete without you”

lehar kadmo se takrai mujhe tum yaad aaye
“The waves touched my feet,And I remembered you

    kabhi mausam hua resham
“At times when the weather seemed silky (pleasant),

    kahi baarish *** rimzim
“When the rain came drizzling down..”

mujhe tum yaad aaye – 5
    “I remembered you…”

That was a good effort, but you used the phrase “I remembered you…”. The writer is actually connecting the memories with what he is describing, therefore the phrase “It/they reminded me of you” should have been used.

Anyway, I have a couple of comments to make about the lyrics:

    (i) These lyrics have been copied by many websites blindly without even correcting any errors, so they all contain errors. For example, they all spell “rimzim” instead of “rimjhim” and “saaagar” instead of “saagar” etc. etc.

(ii) I don't think the original lyrics used the word “saawan” in the line:

“saawan ki dheemi hawaaye bhi baatein tumhari kare”.

I don't know what word he uses but it deifnitely it NOT saawan.

Could someone provide the correct lyrics for this song please.

    Tthanks.
