Pyar ko pakar khodiya maine
rona nahi chahta, rota hoon main

Sochta hoon kesey muskraon
har raat isi soch main dooba hoon
na jaaney kesi hai yeh saza
woh thi bewafa, bewaja
pyar ko pakar bhula diya us ne
nahin socha hoga kya.. mera
zindagi main anderha jagha hai har jagha, aur sawera hai soya soya

ankhoon se paani hai khatam, nami hai baki
baarish bhi kaantein banke hain chubti
laal pholoon se honey lagi hai ab nafrat
aghey kya hoga bekhabar hoon main
intezaar hai asmaan se kisi farishtey ka
jo bataye sach.. na tha mujhe pata

har choti larai ke baad baat kerte the

har ek ghaney main tumhari awaaz sunta hoon
chaand ko dubte, suraj ko ughte dekhta hoon
aas banaye ke kisi din tum aaogi zarror..

I had actually translated this one last Sunday but that was the day we lost all the posts including my translations. What a wasted day. Unfortunately I had translated every thing directly in to the forum so there was no way I could salvage any thing at all.

har cheez ko pyar ke naam kerke kho diya maine
I bequeathed everything in the name of love and lost it
Pyar ko pakar khodiya maine
I found love and then lost it
rona nahi chahta, rota hoon main
I don’t want to cry but I cry
chun ke khushi ke ansoo pita hoon main
I pick out happiness and suppress tears
Aik Akela Larka bangaya hoon
I have become one lonely guy
Sochta hoon kesey muskraon
I think about how I can smile
har raat isi soch main dooba hoon
Every night I drown in these thoughts
na jaaney kesi hai yeh saza
I don’t know what kind of punishment this is
woh thi bewafa, bewaja pyar ko pakar bhula diya us ne
She was faithless, without any reason she lost the love she had received/found
nahin socha hoga kya.. mera
She never thought about what would happen to me
zindagi main andhera jagaa hai har jagah, aur sawera hai soya soya
In life darkness is awoken every where and the morning is sleeping
kesey aghey barhoon main? kehta hai mera dil..
how can I move forward says my heart

I await the arrival of an angel from the sky

what spectacle / sight is this, some one tell me

she came as if from the sky
jaaney kya tha un ke aankhon main
don’t know what was in her eyes
dil beh gaya kadmon main
my heart flowed over to her feet
kaun hai yeh pari? jis se hoon bekhabar
who is this angel, I am unaware / unknowing of her
akhir koi to bataye..
finally some one tell me

and great job translating madhu ji! I love the way u translate. when i see songs already translated (like on bollywhat) it doesn’t really make sense and i would rather have them translated another way. but urs are just perfect!
