      hey i jus want to know the differnce of HUM, TUM, AND APP..?? I NEED THE MEANING FOR THEM..so can u plz help me.

      hum is yourself
      tum – is the other person
      and ‘aap’ is like a nicer way of saying the other person. You usually say aap if you dont know the person or if they are older than you. etc.
      Tum is more casual, can say it to ur friends etc.

      yep…aap is more formal…Smile [:)] couldn’t hum also mean ourselves? e.g. hum dono jaisa…??

      In correct Hindi, HUM is a plural so it means WE. The correct Hindi word for I would be MAI. However, coloquially many people use it as a singular such as in the title of the movie HUM TUM.
