In place of the balm, I died. (There is a pun here that you'll only get if you know the language. Marham (balm) starts with “Mar” which means die. So the lyricist divided “marham” into “mar” and “ham” which then means “I died” Yeah, you kind of have to know the language for it to make sense. It's kind of funny. hehe. )
