The system filters obscene words and vulgarity before posting. Why it would block *** (h u i), I'm not sure. I'll do some digging and see why that is blocked.

Well, erm, “H U I” is an obscene word (sorry to put it bluntly..)…

      http://www.urbandictionary.com/

      Search for the word..

I'll delete the link above if you want me to… Smile

      dear friends,

the word ” h u i ' as I said in my earlier post, used in writing a song for antaskshari thread. You know that when we play antakshari we will definately use the language HINDI but written in ROMAN ENGLISH. Now the said word has clash with the translation in English meaning.

      Example:

SHAAM “H U I” AUR RAAT AAI, RAAT AAI TO TAARE KHILE

if you write same sentance without leaving space for “that” word, the screen will show ***.

Try it and see the result.

Well, I don't know if there is anything Mukesh can do about it… I am sure he will respond to you regarding this, but my suggestion for the time being is to just press spaces in between the letters, or just leave it as it is – since we all know which word you mean and in which context…

      Hope that helps?

Thanks for the solutions, and they are good ones, but I don't want
that to become a common practice that members use to post “really”
obscene words like… well, we all know which ones they are. 🙂

      Instead,
I went ahead and deleted the word hui from the blocked database. Since
hui is a word we use in our Indian languages, and is not an obscene
word for us, it makes no sense to block it just because it may mean
something aweful in Chinese. I doubt any Chinese people visit here
:-). If they do, then they should know what we all really mean when we
      use that word.

      Hope this helps.

      Mukesh
