It's always interesting to watch when a superstar has to reinvent himself to make him more appealing to the audiences or to beat an already established benchmark. SRK is on that drive, be it signing movies like Chak De or doing his own version of KBC. The 40+ star has probably realized that he can't rely on the Karan Johar routine all the time, for one people will get sick of it and second he's getting a bit older.
