The old-school Bollywood, the over-dramatised scenes, the dreamy Switzerland-based song sequences, those filmi dialogues, the human emotions and the wonderful, wonderful music and actors that Yash Chopra ji brought out to Bollywood is the Bollywood I fell in love with, though it is rarely seen nowadays. And it reminds me of this forum so much. The two are just interlinked, for me.

I cannot believe that he has passed away. My sincere condolences to his family. It feels as though, along with his passing away, Bollywood seems to be getting further and further away from the magic that made it Bollywood. My, how times change. I hope he is so, so happy in heaven enjoying everything that he deserves to, because he has shown us little slices of heaven through his own work in Bollywood here on Earth.

Thank you. Rest in peace, sir.
