What I write here are my honest views, and are not written with an intention to hurt ANYONE, in ANY WAY at all... if you have a problem with ANYTHING written here by ANYONE, please let me know...

I don't need a God in my life... I have myself and my own strength, my own beliefs, 'laws' about life that I abide by... ones that let me sleep without feeling guilty... I don't want to be another sheep being herded by the sheepdog Religion... there are some things that mean a lot to me, and my own beliefs and thoughts are one of them. I don't see any reason why I should compromise on them because someone else decides that 'God' is our boss... it seems rather foolish to me to impose a view which is not based on any facts at all, onto others... I am my own 'God', although I don't see myself as a God of my own life... I am the one who decides the rights and wrongs in my life. I need neither a holy book nor a set of ideas about life thrust upon me by ANYONE... family, friends, well-wishers...

And you know what? I love it. I love the freedom that comes with being an atheist. I love being able to see the world through my own eyes, and not a pair of lenses that have been given to me...

I'm so glad we started talking Tayba ji. I know we have known each other for a short time, and we still don't know enough about each other, but what i do know is that I like you a lot because of who you are. You are very nice and helpful and so sweet! You give without expecting anything in return. You are also hilarious! You make me laugh like crazy! I love your posh accent! It is so cute! And all those songs you sang for me, girl, you sing so pretty! I'll always remember the moments I shared with you. You are truly an awesome person and may Allah grant you happiness and success in all that you do. All the people that know you are so lucky, and i hope they know exactly how lucky they are, because a person like you shouldn't be taken for granted. I don’t know where to start… You don’t even know how grateful I am to have met you. I am so glad you were born! I love you so much. You don’t even know how much you have given to me by just being yourself. It is so true; everything happens for a reason. I joined this beautiful forum, and I met so many wonderful people, especially you. I thank Allah (SWT) for you. You are one of the bestest friends I have made on this forum. May Allah (SWT) bless me with your friendship for the rest of my life, Insha’Allah. Masha’Alllah, you’re such a beautiful person. I can’t express myself very well, and you do it for me! You’re one of the very few people I feel hekka comfortable with you. I’m not usually comfortable with everyone I call a friend, but with you, I can say anything and I know I won’t regret it. You have truly been a good friend to me. I'm a little shaky with my words lately, so I'm hoping the poems and pictures will suffice, for you can read them as if they were my own words; I mean every single poem from the bottom of my heart. You have been an amazing friend to me and I cannot tell you how much I have appreciated you in my life. I still remember that time when I was going through some crazy and confusing things in my life and you held me in place and kept me sane when I was sure insanity was hitting me. I still remember how I texted you in the middle of the night while I was crying my eyes out. I wish I had saved those texts that you replied back with. I swear, your words touched me so much I can't even begin to explain what they did for me that night. You helped me breathe that night. You helped me sleep that night. And the morning after, you showed so much understanding... again, I wish I had saved our conversation that morning. And the many times that followed that... you were so caring and comforting. I wish I had taped that phone conversation so that I can remember exactly what you said to me to make me feel so light. You understood me so well that when I spoke to you, I felt so calm and relaxed. I don't think I can ever forget how helpful and loving and amazing you have been to me throughout our friendship.

I sincerely hope everyone knows your worth the way I do, or better.

Right now, I cannot find the words to tell you how much I love you and how much I appreciate everything you have done for me and how much I value our friendship. Again, I'm very shaky with my words lately, but I feel that you will understand better than most people would. Just know that I love you, appreciate you, and value you more than you will ever know. So I say these words with every last drop of force and emotion and compassion that these words hold: I love you.

Does age really matter when you're in love?

Can you fall in love with a guy/girl 10 years older than you? Can you fall in love with a guy/girl 10 years younger than you?

It doesn't have to be 10 years, it can be more. But the point is, does age really matter in love?

For example, you are in love with a guy/girl, but he's/she's like 10 years older than you and to make you understand why he/she can't be with you, he/she tells you he's/she's a lot older than you. Or you can't tell him/her how you feel because he/she thinks of you as a kid.

Or, a guy/girl is in love with you, but he's/she's like 10 years older than you, and you say something like, "I can't love him/her, he's/she's so much older than me!"

Or, you are in love with a guy/girl 10 years younger than you and you don't want to say anything because you don't want to seem like a pedophile.

Or, a guy/girl is like 10 years younger than you and is in love with you, but you only see them as a kid...

What then?

Is love possible between these people?

P.S. 10 is just a number that popped into my head. It can be more than 10 or even less... I was thinking of ten because that's the number that bugs most people i know. If it's 8, it's perfect, even 9 works, but the minute it goes to 10, it's a big no-no. So yeah, that's why I said 10, but put in any number you want...
