if more and more women are turning gay in revolt of men, then men will be FORCED to be nicer so that they can have a greater choice of women... sigh. maybe they will be so dumb and stupid that even if 90% of the world's women turn into lesbians, they will still carry on being the same idiotic pigs they are, not realising what is happening to the world... loool. then we would all be extinct, great!

Now I'm no psych major, but I think it could be possible to construct a classical conditioning experiment! Whenever a man displays asshole like behaviour, he should be zapped with a 50 000 volt taser! Eventually, I hope, they will learn to stop being such *****. You know any volunteers?

Who woulda thunk that men being jerks could result in mass extinction. I thought it would be some major nuclear disaster or WW3 that would result in such an outcome.. but nope, the world we know will end because of men. This is why women should rule the world!

Time really does fly lol God bless it. I think it's the free-est spirit of all. It hurts and sets us free all at once.

Sigh. You know it's exam time when I get urges to philosophize and write and wax lyrical about life and muse on the little and big things. Anything to stop me from actually STUDYING!!

It was a big day academically for me. I found myself wanting to come here later that day to post something, but I think sometimes I reveal too much online *-)... plus I was on my way to a U2 concert, so wouldn't have been able to anyways!

Time is a funny thing.. we feel that it goes by too fast, but there are things that go faster than time.. for instance, light. The light that was created with the big bang is travelling so fast that it hasn't aged at all since it's inception. It's like time is racing to catch up to it, but it can't and it never will. That light will never age, it will never be touched by the concept of "time". Mind boggling.

By the way, I was looking at Amazon lists - you know the type that users make of books they must read blah blah? And I was reading one about some dude/dudette's list of top 20 books and The Handmaid's Tale was on it and he/she writes: "Only a Canadian could have written this - a disturbing portrait of sex and puritanism in a totalitarian America in the not-too-distant future." and it made me LOL and think of the forum and its ehm.. 'special' Canadians

Sigh. I love looking at books online, it's soooo easy to just click 'Add to basket' and because there is no actual physical money involved, it doesn't FEEL like you're wasting (not that money spent on books is ever a waste!!) money... is that a valid enough reason/excuse to splurge? hehe

Haha, Margaret Atwood is a great author, and I loved "The Handmaid's Tale". It was a really good book; if you liked "1984" by George Orwell, chances are that you'll like this book as well .

I've noticed that in the past couple months I've been purchasing more books than usual. Possibly because I have more time on my hands, but also because the Kindle makes it so easy to browse books online and download them within seconds. I get my credit card bill and it's like "wow, did I really spend that much?!" But like you say, spending money on books is never a waste, and thankfully e-books are relatively cheap. I love reading books, can never get enough .
